My first High Hopes stamp, Winner of The Cutting Cafe' Halloween stamps, and a sale at The Cutting Cafe'!

I'm so excited to say I'm featured over on The Divine Influence today! I'd love it if you'd pop over there and take a peek at what it's all about! And I want to thank both Leanne and Carly for letting me be a part of their new venture. Best of luck ladies!!

Happy Friday everyone!! I finally caved and got some High Hopes stamps (thanks so much for your help, Nikki!!) And all I can think of is why did I wait so long!! I had a blast coloring this cutie pie with my Copics. High Hope stamps are now available at Nikki's wonderful shop, Bunny Zoe's crafts! I kept this card very simple as I wanted her to shine. The PP is Bo Bunny and the blue cardstock is PTI. The card base itself is white Bazzill cardstock. The circle is cut out with my Nesties and is popped up from the card base with dimensional tape. I added the zig zag stitching around the card base and around the circle to add interest. The corners are from a Cuttlebug die. Also added some ribbon from Stamp Simply ribbon store. You can click on the pictures to get a nice up close view of things. But please don't look TOO close. There are going to be lots of mistakes to take in. LOL!

Now for a couple announcements. First, I wanted to tell you about a special that Regina is having over at The Cutting Cafe'. What a great card and set. The fonts used in this set are outstanding. And I love how you have kept it fairly simple with just your striped paper background. Thanks for this great opportunity

Bitten By The Bug with The Cutting Cafe'

It's Sunday night and I still have one more day off! WOOHOO!!! I love long weekends! *smile* It's time to reveal the new Bitten By The Bug challenge for this week. Regina asked us to use the present cut from Pooh and Friends. I've been wanting to make a special treat for my grandson's Kindergarten teacher, and this gave me the perfect opportunity!
I used an Apple shaped card from The Cutting Cafe' to make both the note card set, as well as the card for the teacher. The "Thanks Teacher" word circle is another downloadable stamp that is from The Cutting Cafe' called Teacher Huge Circle Set. And then I put the present cut in the middle of the word circle.

I tied on an apple charm (it's a little hard to see) with some twine from PTI. The paper I used is digital and the green cardstock is Bazzill. The card bases are Kraft paper from PTI. I also decorated the top of a jewelry box (a set of A2 cards fit in these boxes perfectly!) to hold the set.

I cut the cards out with my Pazzle machine, but you could just as easily print the pattern onto your cardstock and pattern paper and cut them out yourself. Check the post directly below this one for a chance to win a free set of Halloween This and That digi stamps from The Cutting Cafe'!!
That's it for today! Hope you enjoyed my project, and please be sure and check out all the other projects by the rest of the Bitten By The Bug designers.
Now for the Blog Candy Winner for last weeks Bitten By The Bug Blog Hop -
    The Winner is:
Well, I couldn't get it to paste and it's late so I'm just typing it...
    #36 - Tifany!
Congrats Tifany! Please send my your address so I can get your prizes out to you! Hope you enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by to see me today and hope to see you back again soon!
    hugs!

Fun in the pumpkin patch

Hello and happy Saturday!! I did some babysitting for the grandkids today, and was able to get a little bit of crafting done. I've been wanting to do something with this cute stamp from Digital Pencil Too, and when I found this adorable circle stamp from The Cutting Cafe', I knew they would be a perfect match for each other! It's from a set called Halloween Labels. Regina has lots of cute and fun Halloween stamp sets over at the Cutting Cafe'! Be sure and pop over to check them all out!
I colored the stamp with my Copic markers and cut it out with my circle Nestabilities. The DP is Scenic Route and cardstock is Bazzill. I cut a couple maple leaves out with a Cuttlebug cut and emboss set, and attached them on the corners after sanding them a little bit so the veins of the leaf would stand out nicely. That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by to see me!! Be sure and stop by on Monday cause Bitten By The Bug is having our monthly blog hop. So there will fun and yummy prizes up for grabs!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend! HUGS!

July Birthday in red, white, and blue. Three Clovers Thursday challenge!

It's Thursday and time for a new challenge from Kerry over at Three Clovers Designs! This week, in honor of our Nation's birthday, Kerry asked us to create using the colors red, white, and blue. I don't send 4th of July cards out, and I completely loathe making something that I know I will never use. So I needed to incorporate this into a card I could use. And lucky enough, my daughter has a birthday in July! Problem solved!
To make it, I knew I was going to have to incorporate one of my Maggies from Magnolia-licious! And I just HAD to use this Shabby Chic Tilda standing with bow. I just think she looks like she's straight from a 4th of July picnic! I colored her with my Copic markers and popped her from the star shaped card base, which is from The Cutting Cafe'. Sooooo easy! I then took one of the circle sentiment downloadable stamps, also from The Cutting Cafe' from a set called Happy Birthday to my Daughter - Son, and inserted my own sentiment in the middle. There are lots of sentiments that come along with the circle stamps, but I wanted something that coordinated with the card shape, so I just made my own. Oh, and the circle sentiment says "Happy Birthday to my Daughter". The "to my" is hidden by Tilda.
So that's it for today! Be sure and hop over to Three Clovers Designs to see what the rest of the fabulously talented team came up with, and then grab your red, white, and blue paper and ink and play along with the rest of us!
Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

New Bitten By The Bug challenge plus a Blog Hop!!

Hi everyone! Sure hope you had a wonderful weekend, and that you're ready for the new week! I've got a short week ahead of me since I get Friday off from work. So anywho, it's time for the release of a new challenge from Regina over at Bitten By The Bug. AND, it's time for more fun cause it's another BBTB Blog Hop!!! This week, Regina is asking you to use the Freedom cut fr0m the Graphically Speaking cartridge. Well as soon as I heard what the challenge was, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. So I ran straight to the 4th of July file from The Cutting Cafe'!!!

The card was made by using my DS software with my Cricut Expression, all of which I got from Hallmark Scrapbook. Both the background paper used for the word Freedom, as well as that adorable Uncle Sam hat, is from a set of 4th of July downloadable stamps from The Cutting Cafe'! AND Regina has a special going on right now, so rush over to The Cutting Cafe' to check it out! If you haven't tried Regina's stamps yet, you are missing out! I easily changed the color of the background stamp with my Printmaster program (thank you so much DeeDee!!!), and also resized them to the exact size I wanted for this card. The hat was colored with my Copic markers. I added some Kaiser rhinestones and a ribbon, and I was done. So now onto the info for the Blog Hop!!

If you like flowers, bling, and pink, then I think you're going to like this little batch of blog candy. It consists of a clear flower flourish stamp from Stampendous, a few Prima flowers, Some gorgeous sparkly glittered hearts by Melissa Frances, a set of self adhesive pearls by Kaiser, and some cool pink trim. If you'd like a chance to win this, just leave a comment on this post by midnight Friday night, July 3rd. I will pull a winner sometime over the weekend, so be sure to check back to see if you are the lucky winner!
After you're done here, be sure to hop right on over to Heather's blog and take in all the eye candy she has to offer you! Heather makes the most amazing layouts and cards! She is just a bundle of talent!
Hope you're having fun on the blog hop! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and I hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Did you procrastinate? Still need a Father's Day Card???

If you're anything like me, you're a procrastinator. But you're in luck! Aren't these shirt and tie cards just so cute??!! And they were sooooo quick and easy to make! They're from the Cutting Cafe' and come complete with PDF files if you just want to cut them out yourself (that's how I did the tie), and they also come as WPC files that you can cut out with your Pazzle or other cutting machines (that's how I cut the shirt card). Either way yields wonderful results. So if you still need to make some Father's Day cards, head over to The Cutting Cafe' and grab this set! I love it!!

Thanks for stopping by to see me today and sure hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

My Oh My Oh My Peggy Loves Vintage and The Cutting Cafe'!!

Now how fun is THIS for a get well card. LOL! You have to read the sentiment on the inside first. And then, for a signature, I wrote *make sure you follow doctor's orders!". This fun, fun little inebriated guy is from a sheet of downloadable vintage images from Peggy Loves Vintage. Oh my gosh, they're so fun to play with. This one is from a set called "Bad Boys". heehee
The fabulous sentiment is from The Cutting Cafe', from an awesome set called Chunky Phrases. SO MUCH FUN!!! I just colored it up with my Copic markers. I'm telling you, when you combine Peggy Loves Vintage with The Cutting Cafe', you can't go wrong!!

Paper is Basic Grey Lime Rickey, and so is the button. Twine is from PTI and ribbon is from J's. Hope this makes them smile just a little with all they've been through. Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Father's Day Card and Three Clovers Thursdays

Happy Thursday everyone! And with it being Thursday, that means it's time for a new challenge over at Three Clovers Designs. This week, the challenge is to make a card for a man, and use some type of metal. I have the absolute hardest time making masculine cards. I have to admit that I am hooked on my ribbon and flowers. And when I have to function with it....well I start to fret. LOL!
When I started looking around though, it was actually downloadable stamps that saved my hiney. The fisherman is a downloadable stamp from Dustin Pike, and the circle stamp is from an awesome set of downloadable stamps from The Cutting Cafe' for Father's Day. I used my Copic markers to color the stamp (pic is below). I printed the fisherman twice (the second time a little smaller) so I could have another fish to cut out and apply to the circle stamp from The Cutting Cafe'.

The DP is Basic Grey and I'm sorry, but the brads are from my stash and have no idea who made them. That's it for today. Please be sure and visit Three Clovers Designs to see the other amazing cards the Inspiration team came up with. And then grab your paper, glue, and metal, and get that Father's Day card made so you don't have to worry about it anymore!

Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, and I hope to see you again soon! Have a great day! HUGS!

Three Clovers Designs Thursday challenge

Happy Thursday everyone!! That means the end of the week is almost here, and it also means it's time for another challenge over at Three Clover Designs! This week, Kerry asked us to make a card for Mom or women, and use either ribbon or lace. Perfect timing for Mother's Day, although the card I made could be used any day of the year. I used some of my favorite paper, Basic Grey Boxer line, and the cardstock is Bazzill. That cute stamp is from The Cutting Cafe'. It's in a set called All About Mom that has tons of stamps that can be used year round!

I just printed it out at the size I wanted, and then colored them with my copic markers. I used E08, B21, and for the shadow lines, I used BV20. The scalloped background was cut out with my Expressions machine and the Storybook cartridge.
That's it for today! We'd love it if you would join us in the challenge over at Three Clover Designs! Wait until you see the fabulous creations the rest of the inspiration team came up with! There is some beautiful work to be seen!
OH! I wanted to let you know that I get asked a lot of questions about how I use my copic markers to get Tilda's hair the shade of Auburn red that I love so much. So I'm going to attempt a tutorial on how I do it. I hope to have it posted this weekend. Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon! Have a great day!

Monogram set - The Cutting Cafe'

This is a set of five cards I put together for my wonderful Mom-In-Law for Mother's Day. And I honestly could not believe how quickly and easily they went together! I simply used the AWESOME and AMAZING monogram set of dowloadable stamps from The Cutting Cafe'!!

I simply grabbed the the K I wanted from the many possibilities of monograms in the set, and pasted it into word. Resized to exactly what I wanted, and the printed them out on my cardstock. EASY PEASY!! I cut them out with my Nesties in my Cuttlebug, and mounted them on foam tape for dimension.

The DP is by Cloud 9 Design, Kensington Gardens collection. The cardstock is Bazzill. The brown border on the Blooming Daisies paper is actually just the reverse side of the Blooming Daisies paper, so I knew it would be a perfect match to the brown in the paer! I just ran it through my Martha Stewart border punch.

I added a little color to the stamp by using a couple Copic markers. I used Redwood on the K, and Cream around the dotted circle. That's it! This entire set was done in a little over an hour. What do you think? I sure hope she likes it!! Of course she will. She's one of those Mom-In-Laws that would love it if you scribbled some crayon marks on a piece of paper. She is indeed amazing!!
That's it for today! Be sure and pop over to Regina's site, The Cutting Cafe', to check out all the amazing sets of downloadable stamps she has, and you too can put together a set like this in no time at all! She's got all kinds of wonderful sets to help you whip up something for the mother figure in your life. Hope you're having a woderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by to see me today and I hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Card for mom with Tilda by Magnolia

Oh my gosh....I just finished watching the movie "Marley and Me". I'm tellin ya....I sobbed like a baby, but what a great movie! I loved it! If you watch it, be sure and have some tissues close by! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! The weather is beautiful and I'm loving every minute of it! I actually got to wear capris today! YAY!! Here's a card I put together for Mother's Day, but it could actually be used for any day for your mom, mother-in-law, or mother figure in your life. To make it I used FIVE, yes FIVE Magnolia stamps! I think that's a record for me! LOL!
This was my very first shot at masking, so please tell me, how did I do??? I masked the shabby chic fence and stamped the spring tree. WOOHOO! I was so proud! LOL! Tilda, along with the new bench, and the sun, were all stamped and cut out. The bench is popped up off the card and so is Tilda of course. The Magnolia stamps are available at Magnolia-licious. I came soooo close to try airbrushing the background in blue for the first time ever, but was too afraid. Now I definitely wish I had. The background is WAY too flat for me. Oh well...can't win them all, huh?

The oval sentiment stamp is from an awesome HUGE set of downloadable stamps "ALL ABOUT MOM" that is available at The Cutting Cafe'. This set is amazing and I can't wait to use it more. I stamped the Magnolias with my Memento ink and colored them with Copic markers. The DP is Enchanted Forest by Imaginisce, and cardstock is Bazzill. That pretty pink pearl in the center of the bow is by Kaiser.

There's a big special going on right now over at The Cutting Cafe'! Of you purchase the ALL ABOUT MOM stamp set, you get to choose two other sets of Regina's stamps FOR FREE!!! That's right....FOR FREE!! The special runs through midnight Tuesday, so be sure and pop over there and take advanctage of it.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by to see me, and hope to see you back again soon. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! HUGS!

Peggy Loves Vintage plus The Cutting Cafe'

This card could NOT have been any easier. When I need a wonderful card quickly, There's no place else to turn, but to Peggy Loves Vintage!! This adorable little bunny was printed off one of the MANY cd's avaiable of awesome vintage images. Peggy collects old vintage cards and then scans them, inside and out, and then makes cd's with HUNDREDS of these awesome images (copyright free of course) available to all of us.
I fell in love with this little bunny! It took me all of a couple minutes to print this little cutie and let it dry. Then I just framed it with a scalloped frame and added that adorable little tag from The Cutting Cafe'!

I added a couple little buttons and some pink ribbon, and that's it! This card took me about 15 minutes to make, including cutting out the tag with my Nestabilites and coloring it with my Copic markers!

So if you love vintage like I do, please be sure and visit Peggy Loves Vintage. (I can proudly say she's my extremely talented sister) She also now has a site available for downloading her cd's. NO WAITING for snail mail, plus it's available to international buyers! Also, hop over to Regina's site, The Cutting Cafe'! Her downloadable stamps are the CUTEST! Put the two of these together, and I promise you're going to be VERY happy!! Thanks for stopping by to see me today, and hope to see you back again soon!

Bitten By The Bug challenge turned to The Cutting Cafe'

Ok, what can I say? I can't do pillow boxes. I've tried and I've tried and I have hated every one of them I put together. It's just not a shape for me. I tried yet again because that was our challenge over at BBTB this week...to use the pillow box from the Wedding Cartridge. I cut it out, and I sent the pic to Regina, and then decided that the best part of the whole thing I made was this adorable Easter tag. So if you want to see my pillow box, you can see it over at BBTB. (sorry...but I HATE it! LOL!) But I will show you this cute tag you can make with the AWESOME new downloadable stamps from The Cutting Cafe' that I attached to that pillow box. I just resized the word block for the size tag I wanted and printed it off. Then resized that cute little chick with egg and printed her off too.
I colored everything with my Copic markers, cut the chick and egg out and popped it up off the tag. Thought this would be a perfect tag to attach to an adorable stuffed animal for Easter, don't ya think?? Regina's stamps are awesome to work with! You can resize them to whatever you need and only have to print the ones you want to work with. Please be sure and visit Bitten By The Bug to look at what all the other talented designers came up with for this challenge. You won't be disappointed! And then jump over to The Cutting Cafe' to check out Regina's awesome downloadable stamps! Thanks for stopping by to visit and hope you had a fabulous weekend! Come back and see me soon!!

If friends were flowers.... From The Cutting Cafe'

Well, we made it through Monday! I was able to get this quick little card done tonight using a new set of printable stems and flower top stamps from The Cutting Cafe'. I just printed off the flower top I wanted and colored it with my Copic markers. Then I printed the stem and leaves on my printed paper and cut them out. They're all popped off the card with pop dots for dimension. Added a little button in the center of the flower and a dew drop in the center of the button. Yes, that's the same old MS border punch I've been using constantly! LOL! Sorry, I just can't get my fill! *smiles*
The stem is a curvy sentiment from the set, and the sentiment across the top also comes with it! Talk about and easy, quick card! I love this set! Be sure and visit The Cutting Cafe' to check out all of Regina's awesome files! You won't be disappointed!
Thanks for stopping by to see me today and I hope to see you back again soon! HUGS!

Happy Birthday to you! Tilda in hat Magnolia stamp

Ok, is it just me? Why is it that I always seem to see things in my work after I'm finished and taken the photo and getting ready to post it here? Like on this one...I thought the green and peachy flowers looked good. Then when I look at the card in the photo, I'm thinking...hmmmm...maybe the back flower should have been blue. Of course everything is glued down way beyond the point of being taken off. And of coure I had tried every color of flower to make sure I liked the look before I glued it down. YET...... And maybe I should have colored the box rather than try to make it look like kraft paper...hmmmmm... Am I the only one that does that?? LOL!
I just got some new stamps from Magnolia-licious yesterday!! YAY!! Thanks Diana! I had completely fallen in love with this Tilda the very moment I laid eyes on her. And I just really love that box with the huge bow too! I did turn the box on it's side cause I didn't want to cover up that beautiful bow with Tilda's butt! *smile*

I colored Tilda with my Copic markers which are now available at Hallmark Scrapbook! The DP is Making Memories and that cute circle tag is from a set of printable stamps that are available over at The Cutting Cafe'. I cut the circles and scalloped circles out with my Nestabilities. Added some Prima flowers on the ribbon with a Making Memories brad in the center.

Did some machine stitching around the edges and also used one of my Martha Stewart border punches. The circles are popped up off the card, and the present and Tilda are popped up from the circle. I do love dimension on a card!! Here are the copic colors I used. I did notice that I left out E02 and R20, so add those to the mix too. Sorry about that!

That's it for today! This will be for sale in my etsy shop which I hope to have up and running by the end of this weekend. Thanks for stopping by to see me tody, and hope to see you back again soon! hugs!!!
