New Caledonia, a special collectivity of France located in the southwest Pacific, chose its new beauty queen on Saturday night. The winner was Tokahi Mathieu, 23 and 1m71. 12 women competed.
Miss Caledonia will compete Miss France 2011 in December 2011. Tokahi is the first French delegate of 2011.
