Bid on Marilyn Monroe's First Modeling Photos

    Photos from Marilyn Monroe's very first modeling shoot will go up for auction this December. Before becoming one of the most famous movie stars of all time, budding model Norma Jeane Dougherty posed for a series of pictures with photographer Joseph Jasgur. Dating back to 1946, the images show the then brunette 20-year-old starlet posing in several bikinis as well as a checkered shirt. 

    Having been the source of court battles for two decades, the rare photos will finally be auctioned off by Julien's Auctions to settle the photographer's outstanding debts. The winner will not only gain the images and negatives, but also the exclusive copyrights to distribute the photos. The auction house has not released an estimate of how much they expect the pictures to sell for, but given Marilyn's iconic status, bids are expected to go through the roof! Just last year, her chest X-rays fetched $45,000! The Chief of Julien's Auctions Darren Julien says,
